Noise Abatement office
Westchester County Airport has a Noise Abatement Office that aims to reduce the noise levels that are created by aircraft operations. Noise Abatement Office volunteers follow a noise abatement program to reach the office aims and goals.
An ‘Airport Noise and Operations Monitoring System (ANOMS)’ collects the noise data from around 22 remote noise monitoring terminals, during 24 hours for each day, and 365 days a year, without having day-offs.
